3toPhD® IS A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN…
The home of this groundbreaking new education model is a three-story, 138,000 square foot facility, serving pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade students, as well as Concordia students, faculty, and staff. The first 3toPhD® program, located in Portland, Oregon, leverages public-private partnerships between Concordia University, Portland Public Schools' Faubion School, Trillium Family Services, Basics (formerly Pacific Foods), and Kaiser Permanente.
Kaiser Permanente's Wellness Center and Trillum Family Services mental health services, available for Faubion and Concordia students, family, faculty and staff.
Helping bridge the achievement gap is about more than education alone. 3toPhd® offers a "wrap-around" model that serves the entire community.
Housed within 3toPhD®, Concordia's College of Education students work daily with PreK-8 students—serving as mentors, tutors, and literacy coaches.
